What is Future Maritime

Future Maritime Accelerator is a four-week accelerator built to advance innovation across the maritime sector through AI, data, and emerging technologies.

As global shipping faces increasing pressure from decarbonisation targets, operational inefficiencies, supply chain disruption, and growing environmental challenges, there is an urgent need for solutions that enhance the safety, sustainability, and resilience of maritime systems.

The Future Maritime Accelerator focuses on scaling  ventures working across four key areas of focus, helping to develop innovative solutions that improve maritime operations, protect ocean ecosystems, and support the transition to a more sustainable and efficient global shipping industry.

"Participating in a Bright Tide accelerator programme was transformative for our business. We were a very early stage start up when we took part, and it really helped us increase our brand exposure. In addition, we benefitted from lots of valuable legal advice covering aspects relating to IP and compliance, as well as making key connections. The final pitching event was attended by sector relevant investors, potential customers, and environmental stakeholders. As a direct result, we met an investor at the event who subsequently invested £200k in the business, none of this would have happened without being on the programme."
